BLAZING FAST and SILENT!! There is absolutely no upgrade I've ever done that even comes close to what this drive did to the speed of my PC.

I bought this 16GB SSD initially for a netbook. It worked great in there, making the netbook feel faster than a core duo laptop. But I felt it wasted in the netbook, as I never really use that "toy" anymore.

This is my first Solid State Drive purchase and a replacement for the Hitachi 500GB Travelstar SATA 7200 RPM in my Dell computer.I am very happy with the results of the upgrade and incredibly fast application load times that I'm now experiencing.

Rare that a product has so many winning benefits. My 2008 mid-range notebook is now getting up to 200MBs on sequential reads and 60MBs on sequential writes. That's a jump of 5x in read speed over the original HDD. The write speed is somewhat faster. Notebook now boots 3x faster. No more disk defragging for me, no more disk crashes, runs cooler and quieter.

This is a fantastic upgrade to a computer system. It increases the computer's performance and efficiency. The price is competitive and it is speedy.
