My iPhone 3g was broken for about 4 months before I found this item and I am so glad I did. I had taken it to the Apple Store when I broke it and they confirmed that it was the LCD that was broken, but would be $200 to repair it.
I ordered this screen and it arrived on time. I took me about an hour to install the new screen, but that's because I was super careful! The iPhone now works perfectly again, and I can't tell the difference between the new screen and the one that it replaced (before it was broken, that is). If you've dropped your iPhone 3G and the screen has stopped working, I recommend this product.
