Description:
RS232 is a standard communication port for industry equipment. Unfortunately, modern computers don’t have it anymore. Arduino only has a USB port and a TTL UART interface. In order to talk to industry equipment, we can add a RS232 port to Arduino using this handy RS232 shield.
Usage:
- Just simply plug this rs232 shield onto your Arduino Uno. (Note: As the RS232 shield and the USB port on the Arduino Uno are using the same TTL UART of Atmega328. Please remove the shield when you want to download program through the Arduino IDE.)
Technical Support:
Package Includes:
- 1 x RS232 Shield for Arduino
