We have used this type of product for many years and feel that it is worth the money. It does not keep the car cool - it is not an air conditioner. It merely moves air through the car so that it is not as stifling as it would be otherwise. The problem with our prior auto vents was that the top part that held it onto the window would break off and we would have to keep taping it back on. This one has a better part on the top which alleviates the pressure of the window and door; so hopefully it will last longer than our prior models.

Got a couple of these solar car coolers and use them when parking during daytime.
Now my car is much cooler in the evening after being parked the whole day under the sun. The rubber sealing strips can be cut to size and used.
