Operating Instructions:

Use the double side adhesive tape to fix the main unit at the side of the door/window.
Attach the bar magnet to door frame/window frame with the arrow aligning with the refernce line of the main unit
Test the setup by switching the system's switch to "ON"position of the main unit and see whether the alarm can be triggered by opening the door/ window.

I got these for my college daughter's first apartment. They are easy to put in place and make a loud piercing noise if the window is opened. My only issue is the adhesive fell off one window, and the alarm went off. Once that was addressed a great deal on a creative product.

I just bought these alarms again! I take care of a dementia patient, who can get the doors open. This product has protected her and I from her escaping. This time I'm placing them higher on the doors, near the top, as she was able to remove the ones I bought in the past. This also gives me peace of mind at night, knowing if someone broke in an alarm would go off. I also used these in my apartment. Great security at a very low price!
