No user manual provided. I found compatible user manual on the internet (Q-pets
Large Capacity Automatic Pet Feeder).Gear is under dimensioned and cracked after 2 weeks of working. I removed the defective gear and replaced it with an electric screwdriver motor and gear attached on the exterior of the feeder by cutting the chassis. I attached the plate to the intermediary part and the axle by several screws. The screwdriver turns now the plate by friction like on a turntable, using a rubber grommet mounted on the bit retainer. I added a 5A Darlington transistor command to control the motor and a 6 v 4AH rechargeable battery with an intelligent charger. With around 40 extra dollars and one day work now the feeder works fine.

I got this feeder for my cat who would wake me up at 5:30 am to be fed. Now she lets me sleep Since he was fed automatically at 5 am, great feeder.

This dog feeder is exactly what I expected. High quality, easy to use, and reliable, it really does open successive food trays at times that you specify.

We had been looking for an automatic pet feeder to no avail to feed our cat for a couple of days. But we were concerned about the reliability of a unit for obvious reasons. This unit is great! But for the sound of the dry food dropping, it works SILENTLY. Only the sound of dropping food calls our pet for her meals
