It was a struggle to walk my lively dog. She pulled on her leash the entire time. With this harness leash, it's a pleasure to walk her. It is easy to use and easily adjustable. She fights it a little bit because she can't get her way, but since it works like a halter does on a horse, I know it's totally painless for both of us! I highly recommend it.
