I bought this to illuminate dark areas on my stairs which have no electrical outlet nearby for safe passage at night.
The LED light is certainly bright enough to illuminate the stairs at night for safe passage. It will last far longer than a fluorescent or incandescent bulb, and will give more illumination bang for the battery-life buck than either of those. So LED is a good choice for this application.

The light is quick to install and instatly turns on when it detects the slightest motion. I installed two in a closet. They produce enough illuminatin to see from hagar bar to floor. One light is insufficient for this level of lighting. I can be also used in a closet

I bought this to add some light to pathways. I was surprised that it gives off some a good amount of light for such a small case. The sensor has always worked. It doesn't work through glass, which I kind of already knew but I thought I'd try anyway.
