I used this bulb to replace a 10W Halogen, i use it on the floor as an uplight for a corner in the dining room and it lights up that area surprisingly well with a good warm color. I used to have an actual can uplight with a 60W equivalent CFL bulb in that same corner. That worked okay, but I noticed how hot even the CFL would get. Plus, I wanted to go as low as I could on wattage since this light is on a timer that stays on for 8+ hrs a day, this worked out really well. Awesome.
