I realize these can be used to hang lingerie, etc. but they are a bit puffy and do take up a lot of closet space. So, I use them for hanging suede jackets, lamb leather jackets, some fur jackets and bigger knit sweater jackets and even thinner knit jackets or wraps in the closet. The reason is, they do not create lumps in the shoulders on these items; and, yet are strong enough to hang heavier items on. And, because they are bendable, you can adjust them for the specific garment you are hanging.
