There isn't a great deal to say about this- it's a pin to pin converter, no electronics. The soldering was good quality and I have no reason to doubt that this won't last for a long time.

Only minor issue is that the 6 pin female end is quite a lot wider than it seems to need to be, and this makes it slightly difficult to seat fully on the pins of an Arduino Diecimila/Duemilanova/Uno, as it fouls on the MCU chp socket. Nothing a bit of filing or careful pushing can't get around though.

I used it in conjunction with http://www.suntekstore.com/goods-14002608-33v_5v_usbasp_downloader_isp_avr_programmer_adapter.html to successfully flash a Diecimila with a dead USB interface chip, which would otherwise have been useless.
